For devices in the TSOP-48 package some different programming adapters are available.

CONITEC 210855 - Special adapter for GALEP-4 and GALEP-5

The upper board of this adapter can be plugged onto the lower board in two plug positions:

• Position 1: By a special signal layout at 40 pins of the GALEP socket, those devices, which are available in the SO-44 package too (up to 8 Mbit), are rogrammed in the byte mode too.
• Position 2: The lower adapter board contains an address register. This and a special signal layout at 40 pins of the GALEP socket makes it possible to rogram (most) flash devices with 48 pins in word mode.

CONITEC 210914 - Standard adapter for GALEP-5

Only for devices, which can be selected with the suffix "G5"!

Just like the 32 and 40 pin adapters this adapter connects the 48 device pins "by signal" with the 48 GALEP pins, which are configured for a DIL device. For example the address A0 is the DIL pin 13 and the TSOP pin 25, A1 is DIL.12 and TSOP.24, A2 is 11 and 23, ..., each DIL pin is connected with the a TSOP pin, which's number is increased by 12 (above DIL.36 the increased number (over 48) must be decreased by 48).

Third party - Standard adapter "1:1 by number"

Only for devices, which can be selected with the suffix "xy"!

All device pins are connected with a GALEP pin "1:1 by pin number", therefore the GALEP socket must not be configured for the DIL signal layout but for the TSOP signal layout.
